BACKSTREET FESTIVAL
THE JOY PROJECT

After the success of its six editions, the International Association for Creation and Training (I-act) brings the 7th edition of the Backstreet Festival with a more creative and diverse program under the same slogan of ‘The Joy Project’. It is the core belief of I-act that the only way for the return of joy in the society is practicing it, and even cultivating the environment through arts. Through various artistic and joyful events held across different venues in Alexandria, the festival creates a platform for artistic expression, aiming to fill the audience with joy and provide them with exchange and networking opportunities on the local and international levels.
In partnership with various local and international organizations, I-act presents a rich and multidisciplinary array of performances, including music, theatre, dance, circus and multimedia shows, in addition to training workshops and film screenings. I-act expends much effort towards representing Egypt with the highest quality forms of contemporary arts and by spreading joy through arts. So, join us and be part of “The Joy Project”.
